Såg filmen G.B.F. Idag och helt ärligt kanske det inte var världens bästa film, men meningen med den var utan tvekan något som gjorde filmen värd att se. Kortfattat kan jag säga att det handlar om tre tjejer som är skolans "Queen bees" av olika grupper och de har allt man kan tänka sig. Det enda som är kvar är att skaffa sig en "gay best friend". De börjar då via en särskild app leta efter någon som är en gömd gay och hittar på det sättet en kille.. De alla tre försöker ta över honom på sitt eget vis och behandlar honom mer som ett föremål än en riktig människa. Vid sidan om detta finns vissa gay haters (som jag antar att filmproducenterna har gjort så överdrivna så att man ska förstå att alla människor verkligen är lika mycket värda). På deras bal får man inte ha en dejt av samma kön, de säger rakt ut hur alla som är homosexuella kommer hamna i helvetet och personen som till slut kom ut som gay (eller blev tvungen efter det med appen) blev ett mobboffer för ett stort killgäng.. inte nog med det gjorde de hemska anti gay affischer som fick skolledningen att ta bort balen helt och istället blev en annan bal som var gjord av bl.a. den homosexuella killen aktiv. Självklart kunde inte anti gay gruppen se på det där och gjorde en fet protest vid ingången till deras bal. Ja ni förstår filmen var nog kanske lite över gränsen, men den skildrar ändå en värld där vissa faktiskt blir utsatta för sådant som de själva inte kan rå för. All mod det tar dem att själva försöka acceptera sig som något annat än majoriteten och sedan berätta om det för andra är mycket starkt och att sedan få någon typ av hatrespons är inte okej! Självklart kan inte alla tycka att det är okej, men man ska fortfarande visa sin respekt mot alla. Religionen har sin syn på det hela, men man får väl tänka på att Bibeln, Koranen och alla dessa böcker är skrivna på en tid där man tänkte helt annorlunda. Man kan inte sätta in en mening från en så lång tid tillbaka i världen vi lever i nu och förvänta sig att det ska fungera. Det är som att inte ha något annat jobb utan endast försöka klara sig genom att jobba på åkern hela dagen. Något sådant skulle inte riktigt fungera nu. Dock får man ofta höra ett annat motargument när man drar denna åsikt och det är att om Gud hade tänkt att vi nu lever i en annan tid hade Han väl skickat ner en ny bok med nya regler. Det kan jag faktiskt ibland instämma med, men då får man väl följa det man själv innerst inne tycker är rätt. Om man nu väljer att kalla sig homosexuell får man hoppas på att den man är på insidan och mot andra människor är det som Gud kommer se och dömma efter. Detta som sagt om man nu tror på Gud.
Aja vet inte riktigt vad jag ville komma fram till med detta inlägg förutom att ni alla kanske borde se denna film och inte stänga av efter ca fem minuter för den inte är världsbäst, utan ge den en ärlig chans eftersom poängen med den är i min mening väldigt bra.
